- Transaction Details: Safaricom M-Pesa phone numbers, KopoKopo payment request IDs, transaction amounts, and M-Pesa receipt references.
- Technical Logs: IP addresses, browser types, and timestamp logs for audit and security tracking.
3. Purpose of Data Processing
We use the data collected strictly for:
- Executing requested record checks across authorized databases.
- Processing payment verification requests via KopoKopo M-Pesa STK Push.
- Delivering floating or push notification alerts when delayed payment webhooks complete.
- Preventing fraudulent queries and ensuring platform security.
4. Payment Processing & Third Parties
We do not store financial credentials or M-Pesa PINs. All payment transactions are securely handled by KopoKopo Inc. and Safaricom PLC. Verification queries are routed directly through secured API channels.
5. Data Retention & Protection
Search parameters and transaction records are stored in encrypted databases purely for receipt generation and customer support reconciliation. We employ strict access controls, SSL/TLS encryption, and PDO-prepared database safeguards.
